Amanda’s Tribute
Amanda Termotto (1970–2005) was the kind of woman who gave quietly and loved boldly—others-focused, compassionate, and steady with a heart of gold. A survivor of mental, physical, and emotional abuse, she often hid the depression she carried. Amanda died by suicide in 2005 at age 35, leaving behind her three children—Maria, Michael, and Max.
Her legacy is love in action. In 2018, her daughter Maria founded Right From The Heart in Amanda’s honor to make that love tangible—caring for orphans in Uganda and India, strengthening local nonprofits, and providing Bibles where hope is needed most. We are grateful to partner with Adrienne Raptis in building two orphanages—one in Uganda and one in India.
Today, Right From The Heart partners with trusted leaders caring for orphans in Uganda and India, helping provide daily essentials, education, safe shelter, and the gift of Scripture. At home, we support local nonprofits and step into urgent needs for families in crisis. We steward every gift carefully, serve with integrity, and keep the mission simple: love like Jesus, protect the vulnerable, and build pathways to lasting hope.
